About Titan - Our History
Titan was formed in 1984 with the objective of being “better than the benchmark”.
This commitment remains true today, as numerous clients will readily testify as to our levels of customer service, engineering capability and integrity.
Continued steady growth has resulted in long term relationships with a range of blue chip clients, and a reputable supply chain protecting hundreds of thousands of people, and many billions of pounds worth of assets.
Managing Director, Tony Hanley remains as committed as he was in 1984, and believes that “the abolition of the Fire Precautions Act, and introduction of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order in 2005, has meant that we have to raise our game even higher to ensure our clients understand the implications of accountability and actions required of them by legislation” Tony maintains ‘ that the impact of this legislation has not been fully absorbed or understood by those responsible for Fire Safety, as prosecutions continue to rise”.
Tony further adds “My job is to make sure we deliver the best in customer service through the training and development of Industry talent and expertise, so that Titan is the employer, and supplier, of choice.
As a well known speaker for the Fire Industry Association, he delivers one simple message “that no matter how sophisticated or reliable fire system technology and products become, they are useless, if they end up in the wrong hands, there simply are No Shortcuts to Safety” and that ‘Safety is an Absolute”
