Titan Fire & Security can supply and install a range of gas suppressing systems including Argonite, FM-200 and Co2 systems that are all capable of extinguishing fires without damaging occupants and equipment. We can also replace existing gas suppression systems.
FM-2000®
FM-2000 is well established as the single most effective Halon 1301 replacement. It is approved by independent approval agencies such as FMRC, ULI, LPCB, VdS and the US EPA. Stored as a liquid and used in very low concentrations, FM-200 occupies a fraction of the storage space of any other agent, ensuring that it is the preferred agent for many of our customers.
Argonite®
Argonite is composed of an equal blend of two naturally occurring gasses - Nitrogen and Argon. It is particularly suited for protection against electrical fire as it is non-conductive. In addition, it has a zero ozone depletion profile and when discharged reduces oxygen levels from the ambient atmospheric level of 21% to approximately 12% which efficiently extinguishes any fire without posing any threat to life.
Water Mist
Water mist systems combine the extinguishing characteristics of water with the penetrative qualities of gas, whilst at the same time obviating any safety hazards for localised personnel or the environment. Penetration and suppression of all types of fire is achieved by high momentum discharge of small water droplets in the form of a fine mist.
Inergen®
Inergen is a high-pressure agent which is stored in cylinder banks to suit risk size. It is a totally natural substance with an infinite supply and zero Ozone depletion profile, having no known adverse environmental effects.
Carbon Dioxide
Colourless, odourless and electrically non-conductive, carbon dioxide is an excellent extinguishant for the protection of vital services such as generator and transformer rooms. Control measures are mandatory with carbon dioxide installations to ensure that it is operated with complete safety for the occupants of a protected risk environment.
