The National Security Inspectorate (NSI) are a consumer-led, not-for-profit approvals body that inspects companies to the highly recognised industry standards as demanded by the police, fire services and insurances industry. Electrical Contractors Association (ECA)
Founded over 100 years ago, the Electrical Contractors' Association (ECA) is the UK's largest and leading trade association representing electrical, electronic, installation engineering and building services companies.
Recognised by Government, commerce and industry as the authoritative voice of the sector, the ECA is amongst the nation's best resourced representative associations. The Association works closely with Government and key national bodies to improve industry standards and procedures. SAFE Contractor
Safecontractor is an accreditation scheme that assesses the health & safety competency of contractors and service providers. Clients have a legal obligation to ensure that external contractors and service providers working on their premises operate in a safe way. There is therefore a need to assess contractors health & safety arrangements and increasingly this is being carried out through Safecontractor. Many large organisations now use Safecontractor as their primary means of selecting contractors.
